3D printing doesn't have to be a big deal

I just bought a Ugreen multi-port charger that charges my phone, tablet and laptop at once. About 300 W, which makes it big and heavy — not something to keep on the desk.

A small problem, but a problem

The 300 W charger: big, heavy, in the way.

On the desk it takes up room. So it lives underneath, and the cable comes up when something needs charging. The problem: under there, there is nowhere to put it.

Under the desk: nowhere to put it.

Glue would ruin the surface, and I don't want that. A cable tie wrapped around it looks messy and ugly. The best answer is a box that holds the charger, with a clamp that hooks onto the desk leg. And of course Shopee sells nothing that fits this charger and this desk leg at the same time. So I made myself one.

Draw, measure, print

Try it on

And I had the box I wanted, with a clamp that grips the desk leg. On it goes.

Done.
